Frequently Asked Questions

This is a comprehensive list of the most common inquiries I receive. However, every project is unique, so if your question is not listed, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Do you only capture live music/Nashville local artists? Will you accept other types of projects?

No! I capture all types of music projects and beyond! I am specialized in live music, but I have experience doing many different types of projects. Social media filming, portraitures, weddings, parties, corporate events, tours, and more (the only exception being traditional boudoir). Reach out to me and we’ll make it happen!

Can I choose my location when booking?

Yes, within reason. Clients can choose any location within or around Nashville!

*Note: if that is outside of the city, I may charge a Transportation fee (this covers my time and means). This fee may be waived at the discretion of 615 Focused, depending on the project type.

What forms of payment do you accept? Do you offer installments/payment plans?

I accept Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and CashApp at this time.

And Yes! Payment plans are available, but a deposit is required. Just ask, and we’ll find a plan that works for you and your media budget!

Do you work with individuals, bands, or both?

I work with solo artists and bands! It is important to note that my typical shot list varies depending on the number of members preforming at a time. It is also logistically easier to have one main point of contact, who I can communicate with leading up to the event, for bands. This helps avoid communications on the front end.

How far in advance should I book?

The further in advance you book, the better! Know you have a show coming up in a month or two? It’s never too early. Bookings requested within 24 hours are not typically accepted (at the discretion of 615 Focused to enforce). This 24 hours period is crucial to 615 Focused’s prep process for any type of shoot, but especially original music based events.

How do I know my show/booking has been confirmed?

After you reach out initially, there will be a consultation (either over email, direct messaging, or over-the-phone). Once you communicate a date you are looking to book, no other clients will be accepted during that time. During consultation process, you will fill out a short questionnaire and contract page. You will then return that document to 615 Focused within a provided time frame, and pay a 50% down payment deposit (if applicable). Once received, 615 Focused will send you a confirmation message, and you’re all set!

If you fail to meet these requirements after several reminders, or no longer want to book, your reservation may be forfeited.

Do you require a contract?

Yes, I do require a contract for most all projects. To review that document, click here. You may pre-fill this form out and send it with your booking request, but know that requests are not guaranteed without confirmation from 615 Focused.

Is there a deposit to book?

Yes, a 50% deposit/down-payment is required for confirmation, and will be enforced at the discretion of 615 Focused. Cancelling after you have received confirmation, may result in the forfeit of your deposit, again, at the discretion of 615 Focused.

However, as part of our mission to make media more affordable for rising artists, if you need a custom payment plan or discount, that may be possible. If you are curious about your payment options, please do not hesitate to include that in your initial request and/or your booking form. This information will not inhibit you from booking.

What does the canceling/re-scheduling process look like?

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond either party’s control (including illness, unforeseen emergencies, or severe weather), 615 Focused reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services. In such cases, any payments made will be refunded to the client.

If you have not been confirmed, you can cancel at any time with no penalty or payment required! You are more than welcome to reschedule, but note that desired dates and times are not guaranteed. Booking is first come-first served!

If you have been confirmed by 615 Focused for your appointment date, 615 Focused reserved the right to hold your deposit. You are encouraged to reschedule and apply it to a future appointment. If you choose to cancel, you are agreeing to forfeit your deposit.

Cancelling/rescheduling your booking does not inhibit you from booking again (we don’t hold grudges here!) We understand that sometimes, life just gets in the way!

How far do you travel for shoots? Is travel included in the advertised pricing?

I am based in the Hillsboro-Nashville area, so any venues/locations close to 37212 are included in the cost of the shoot.

Please note *If the venue/location is outside an approximate 6 mile radius, a $20 transportation fee may be an additive charge, applied at the discretion of 615 Focused. (Common for areas like Murfreesboro TN, Columbia TN, and Cookeville TN.

**I am actively looking for short-term touring opportunities. This is a travel-fee exception. There will be no additional charges for touring clients. As incentive, 615 Focused services may be bundled for a discount

Do you work solo or with a team?

I (Morgan) typically work for myself. However, select projects may call for a assistive set of hands or two camera-operators, such as music videos or outdoor projects with limited time. If you are specifically interested in working with just me or with a larger crew, please don’t be afraid to communicate that! I have hired on assistants as well as colleagues for a variety of projects!

Where are your packages listed? What is included? Can I updgrade my package after booking?

The packages I offer are listed under the ‘Services’ tab or you can click here! I offer photo, video, editing, content creation , and more! Each package can be molded to you; don’t be afraid to ask for modifications and adjustments, as needed.

Clients may change their package up to 24 hours prior to the session/event. You can add more edits at any time, even after your session has expired!

Is editing/retouching included in my package?

Editing is included within most photo packages! Video editing can be included upon request. No more than one round of editing adjustments may be made after the final product has been received by the client. Please refer your package specifically to see if edits are included by clicking the ‘Services’ tab for this link. If you have questions, do not hesitate to reach out!

Do you offer discounts/bundles?

Yes! I offer discounts depending on the location of the session/event! Ask if your booking qualifies!

I offer discounted/bundled packages if there are a string of shows your are booking for, including tours.

How should I prepare for our shoot? What should I bring? Can you help me prepare?

After receiving confirmation from 615 Focused, please prepare any and all outfits, props, inspiration, and transportation to ensure a timely arrival. Come prepared with hair, makeup, and your first outfit on and ready! Please let me know if you require an extra tripod for your personal phone or any other additional services/set of hands/equipment with at least a days notice. Be sure to rest and hydrate the night before, especially during those hot Nashville summers!

I am more than happy to offer inspirational options! I can help with styling and posing. If you would like to talk about aesthetic guidance, please mention this and any vague ideas or artistry in your inquiry or booking form. I find projects I have creative freedoms in are more engaging!

Do you offer studio sessions?

615 Focused would be happy to book a studio for our session on your behalf, for whatever fee the studio charges. Here are a few links to a few studios I would love to book at!

Can I bring someone with me?

The more the merrier! As long as they are not in the way of the shot any support is always lovely! There will be some shoots that I will bring an extra set of hands with me, as well!

What is the course of action if weather is bad?

If the weather gets bad, 615 Focused reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services. In such cases, any payments made will be refunded to the client. You, the client may request cancellation or rescheduling, too, if the weather is bad, and you may receive a refund if the concerns are shared. (They likely will be, I hate driving in bad weather!)

Can I see photos during the session?

Viewing photos, I’ve learned, takes away from the energy of the shoot. 615 Focused hopes that you enjoy the full time you have booked, and trust my professionalism and knowledge will produce quality imagery, in the style we previously discussed during the consultation period.

Can I change outfits mid-shoot?

I know other photographers may limit the number of outfits/ scenes you may shoot in, but that is not my philosophy. You may change outfits, makeup, hair, accessories, props, or anything else at any time within the scheduled time! Be wary of the time constraints, and try to spend too much time changing, and not enough time shooting!

Are you open to creative input before/during the shoot?

I actually prefers your creative input; 615 Focused wants to tell your story! Please share any inspirations or ideas you have before the shoot, whether that be pictures, a pinterest board, or even a playlist! If you have an idea during the shoot, please don’t be afraid to shout it out! Although, please come with an open and curious mind!
